Good morning, Corpus Christi! I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has subscribed to the “AA Nuts and Bolts of South Texas,” the new name for our newsletter blog. Your continued support and engagement mean the world to me, and I feel an incredible sense of responsibility to ensure that this space not only informs but also uplifts our community.
This blog is more than just a source of news—it’s a powerful platform where our voices can be heard and our stories shared. With the many blogging tools at our disposal—such as the ability to submit articles (via email), share event announcements, and interact directly in the comments section—there are countless ways for you to be part of the conversation. Each time you receive a post by email, I encourage you to visit the website, like, comment, and share your thoughts. These small actions strengthen our connection and help us reach even more sober Alcoholics across Corpus Christi.
If you have an article you’d like to contribute, or if you know of any upcoming events that support our recovery journey, please send them my way, nathan@giveconsultingusa.com. Your input is invaluable, and together, we can build a vibrant, supportive base of sober Alcoholics here in Corpus Christi. Let’s fully utilize this new tool not only to stay informed, but to inspire, support, and empower one another. With everyone’s participation, I believe that next year’s Jamboree could welcome 1,000 attendees—or even more in the years to come. My understanding is that pre-Covid attendance was good, and since this event supports CBIA, our local intergroup, it is vitally important to make events like these successful. Thank you again for being a vital part of this journey.
